Self introduction : As an Associate Professor in the University Library, my primary work is providing reference help, library instruction, and collection management in 3 areas: 1. African American studies. My enthusiasms are literature, biography, history, and social issues. 2. English language and literature. I especially enjoy American literature, but have a reasonable grasp of the whole usual cannon. I was once a high school English teacher. 3. Children's literature. This field just keeps getting better and bigger. |
