In recognition of this great accomplishment, each year
the library invites faculty who have earned the honor of tenure
or promotion to choose a book for the Eastern Michigan
University Library collection. The book may represent
something meaningful to the faculty member, either
professionally or personally. To commemorate their
selection, we place a special bookplate in their
book.
Each
autumn, the library has a reception to recognize and honor
the EMU faculty who achieved tenure or promotion
the previous academic year.
The
librarians and staff at the Eastern Michigan University
Library congratulate our tenured and promoted faculty!
