An Evening with NPR's Scott Simon:

In celebration of National Library Week, Ypsilanti District Library welcomes National Public Radio's Scott Simon, host of "Weekend Edition," broadcast on Michigan Radio 91.7 FM. An Emmy and Peabody Award winner, Simon will discuss his experiences reporting from all 50 states, 5 continents, and 10 wars, from El Salvador to Iraq and Afghanistan. He will sign copies of his books that chronicle characters in war and peace, sports and art, tragedy and comedy - including his latest work, Windy City, a political comedy set in the Chicago City Council.

General admission tickets are $15.
VIP Tickets, which include a meet-and-greet reception with Simon, are $30.
